What does the Buddy Backup Services back up?
Buddy Backup Services by default, backs up everything in your Documents and Settings folder. This includes documents, photos, email, data files from applications and music. Not included in the list of the default backup are programs, system and temporary files, videos or even individual files larger than 4GB. However, you can add these manually with the exception of system files located in C:\Windows and temporary files in Temp folders.

How does Buddy Backup Service keep my data secure?
In protecting your data, Buddy Backup Services uses a combination of encryption techniques like those used by banks and other financial institutions. Files are encrypted twice and remain encrypted on our servers, which makes it almost impossible to access without your secret password. However, it will not support older versions of Windows (Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows ME). It is also available for all Intel-based MACs running OS 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard).
